Here at Tokushu, we carry knives from blacksmiths who already had a stellar reputation before they started forging their own kitchen knives. One such example is Kei Kobayashi. Before making his own kitchen knives, he was a highly skilled sharpener and polisher from Seki city, having worked with some of the region's top blacksmiths.

Now, Kobayashi-san controls his own lines of knives made from a premium powdered stainless steel known as SG2 or R2. His knives are incredibly thin, and their simplistic Damascus pattern pairs well with any stock or custom handle. Choose yours here!
